Freelanced motion & graphic design for the WTTW documentary “The Power of Simplicity: Architect Scott Merrill” on the career of architect Scott Merrill in March of 2016. Merrill is the 2016 recipient of the annual Richard H. Driehaus Prize given out by the University of Notre Dame. You can view the documentary here (also embedded above) or look for it on broadcast television - PBS channel 11 in Chicago.
This is the second time I’ve been brought in to work on this yearly documentary that focuses on recipient of the prize every spring. Click here to view my work on 2015's winner.
I worked closely with the associate producer to complete the following tasks you can see throughout the documentary:

I worked closely with the associate producer to complete the following tasks you can see throughout the documentary:
- Create all photo "moves" seen in the documentary in After Effects where a still image moves from one side to another, pans, tilts & zooms, etc. All while keeping these to broadcast standards and safe areas.
- Edit images in Photoshop to broadcast specifications for use in the documentary.
