Supplemental animations created for a Chicago Tonight segment on kayaking on the Calumet River. The first animation (above) was used to give a better idea of where the busy Calumet river is relative to the rest of Chicago. The top animation was the only one used in the segment; the bottom two additional animations were created to show clarity of the route but ultimately were cut.
